<h1>Milkweed in bloom · recreated in watercolour</h1>
<p class="note">A common-milkweed (<i>Asclepias syriaca</i>) umbel, painted with the bubble-chamber project's
own wet renderer (<code>src/render/watercolor.js</code>) driven by a new umbel generator
(<code>src/milkweed/umbel.js</code>). The conceit that made it fit: a milkweed umbel is a <i>radial
event</i> — a hidden central node, pedicels radiating like tracks, each blooming into a five-pointed
star at its tip. The bubble chamber's vertex and δ-ray spray, restated in botany; life wearing the
shape of the particle event. Same pigment physics as the plates — BeerLambert subtractive optics,
the wet edge, cold-press granulation, wet-into-wet bleed — only the geometry and the palette change
(sap green, quinacridone rose, a pale corona crown that barely tints the paper). Deterministic from
seed; herbarium caption from the shared archive-identity system.</p>
